The Endeavor psychology practice leverages a holistic understanding of the individual, recognizing the intricate relationships between body and mind, to help clients advance mental and physical health. Therapy takes into account not just what clients are experiencing emotionally and physically, but also how their support networks, social and work relationships, and communities shape their experiences and impact their mental and physical health goals.

Brad Spickard
Brad Spickard, PhD is Director of the Endeavor Psychology practice. Dr. Spickard received his doctorate in clinical psychology from Ohio University and further developed his specialization in health psychology through extensive training at the Queen Elizabeth II Health Sciences Center in Nova Scotia. Since then he worked at Newton-Wellesley Psychiatry before becoming the Director of Behavioral Medicine at the Derry Medical Center in Derry, New Hampshire.
Dr. Spickard began his career as a psychologist working in acute inpatient and outpatient physical therapy hospitals as an exercise physiologist, developing a deep appreciation of the connections between physical and mental health and the challenges facing patients and their families. Over the last decade, Dr. Spickard has worked extensively with general mental health and medical populations in diverse settings including hospitals, primary care facilities, college counseling centers, and private practice.
As a psychotherapist Dr. Spickard utilizes an integrative model of psychotherapy that includes a patient-focused and interactive therapeutic approach with primary emphasis on Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). He leverages the strengths of individuals and their support networks in order to provide effective therapeutic interventions and facilitate change.
Jen Dowd
Jen Dowd, LICSW views therapy as a collaboration with her clients, working together to understand the root causes of thoughts, feelings, and behaviors that get in the way of resolving problems in order to develop new ways of working through difficulties. She has spent the last 15 years working with children and adults in school, residential, and community settings and has extensive training and experience in CBT, conflict resolution and trauma-focused therapy. Jen enjoys working with children of all ages, young adults, couples, and families, and is particularly interested in autism spectrum and related disorders, anxiety, behavioral and school issues, parenting concerns, relationship difficulties, divorce, and trauma.
Lauryn Blandford
Lauryn Blandford, LMHC has worked in the mental health field for 15 years with advanced clinical training in CBT, DBT and Collaborative Proactive Solutions. While Lauryn’s experience is extensive, she has specific expertise with eating disorders, self harm, and other destructive behavior patterns in children (6-10 years of age), adolescents and adults. Lauryn uses a collaborative approach to identify underlying issues getting in the way of success, whether it be in school or at home.
Emma Savely
Emma Savely, MSW received her Master’s degree in Social Work from Simmons University. She views therapy
as a holistic and collaborative experience to learn more about oneself and to gain skills that align with
each client’s unique and individual goals. Emma has experience working with children, adolescents, and
young adults in various school settings, developmental centers, and adolescent group homes. Emma has
worked with children and youth with ADHD, depression, anxiety, life transitions, intrapersonal conflicts
and trauma. Using a person-centered approach, she meets clients where they are at in innovative ways,
often weaving in their strengths and interests into sessions. Emma believes play is an integral language
for children and can be used as a support to strengthen many skills. In addition to play therapy, Emma
also uses elements of CBT, narrative therapy, and mindfulness in her practice.
Cayla Hally
Cayla Hally, B.S. in Psychology with a specialty in applied behavior anaylsis (ABA), has spent her post-college years working as a behavioral technician with children diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder and other related developmental disabilities. While preparing to further her education in mental health, Cayla supports both clinicians and clients in her role as the practice manager at Endeavor Psychology.
Michael LoGuidice
Michael LoGuidice, LICSW, M.Ed, works closely with Endeavor Psychology as an advisor and supervisor. He has three decades of experience working with children, adolescents, and adults. Michael works closely with families and schools and utilizes a solution focused approach. He has extensive training in therapeutic approaches including cognitive-based therapy (CBT), collaborative problem solving, psychodynamic therapy, and solutions-focused brief therapy.
Christopher Joaquim
Christopher Joaquim, Ed.D., M.S., M.Ed., LMHC has a doctorate in Human Services Administration, an M.S. in Counseling and Psychological Services, an M.Ed. in School Counseling.
Dr. Joaquim has 17 years of counseling experience. He has extensive experience helping children, adolescents, and young adults in developing healthy strategies to manage stress, anxiety, phobias, depression, grief, and other mental health challenges interfering with personal well-being. Dr. Joaquim has helped students build healthy support networks in public schools, private schools, and colleges. He also provides adults with a nonjudgmental space for self-exploration, personal growth, coping skill building, relationship evaluation, career development, and goal setting.
As a therapist, Dr. Joaquim believes in a collaborative, personalized, holistic approach to the counseling process. He uses cognitive behavioral, developmental behavioral, mindfulness, solution focused, and strengths-based strategies.
Matthew Goodnow
Matthew Goodnow, Psy.D specializes in neuropsychological assessments for children, adolescents, and young adults. He has expertise in assessing ADHD, learning disabilities (e.g., dyslexia, dyscalculia, etc.), autism, anxiety disorders, trauma, mood disorders, and behavioral problems. Dr. Goodnow works collaboratively with parents, teachers, therapists, and other specialists and utilizes a strength-based approach in his evaluations. Dr. Goodnow provides targeted recommendations individually-tailored to each client’s needs, as he considers this the most important aspect of the evaluation process.
Dr. Goodnow has worked in a variety of settings, including hospitals, inpatient units, schools, and outpatient clinics. While in graduate school, he completed practicum placements at Beacon Assessment Center, Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, and the Woburn Public Schools. He received a bachelor’s degree from Union College (where he majored in neuroscience) and received a doctoral degree in clinical psychology from William James College (with a concentration in neuropsychology). He completed an APA-accredited internship at Devereux Advanced Behavioral Health MA and RI and received post-doctoral training in pediatric neuropsychology at North Shore Medical Center.
Lucy Morgan
Lucy Morgan, LICSW believes that a strong therapeutic relationship can provide a safe space for self-exploration, healing, and growth. Working in the restaurant industry for many years taught her the power of authentic human connection and a sense of humor, which she now enjoys incorporating into her work as a clinical social worker and therapist. Lucy works with individuals across the lifespan, from youth and adolescents to older adults. She has had the honor of working with people who are entering end of life care, and has extensive experience treating anxiety, depression, self-harm, and PTSD, especially in adolescents. She has a particular interest in LGBTQ+ issues, relationship difficulties, sexual trauma, and life transitions. With a background in creative writing, Lucy incorporates narrative therapy techniques into her person-centered approach, as well as CBT and DBT.
Robert Saxner
Robert Saxner, Psy.D. works collaboratively with clients to gain insights into coping strategies that are no longer working and to develop new strategies that help clients achieve what they want. He uses a holistic, empathetic, egalitarian, and encouraging approach to connect with, understand, and support his clients. Bob works with adolescents, adults, couples, and families. He is interested in depression, anxiety, parenting issues, relationship challenges, and trauma. His background is in Adlerian theory and practice, which aligns with Interpersonal Therapy, Collaborative and Proactive Solutions, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy approaches. He has trained and worked over the last five years in several community health and outpatient settings. Bob received his doctorate in clinical psychology at William James College and his master’s in counseling and Adlerian psychotherapy at the Adler Graduate School
Melanie Almaguer
Melanie Almaguer, PhD received her doctorate in school psychology at Texas A&M University. She has completed her training in community health clinics, medical centers, and schools. She has experience with individuals across the lifespan with a variety of challenges including behavioral concerns, anxiety, depression, and Autism. Melanie also has experience conducting psychoeducational and neuropsychological assessments for children and young adults. Melanie enjoys working with children and pre-teens and is continuing to work towards certification in Parent-Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT). She utilizes an integrated approach to therapy, which is client-centered, and meets her clients where they are at in the therapeutic process. She incorporates cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and elements of other approaches such as play therapy, bibliotherapy, and motivational interviewing.
Emalie Novick
Emalie Novick, MA believes the foundation to successful therapy is the creation of a safe, open, and compassionate space for individual’s to explore and grow. She works collaboratively with individuals to achieve a deeper understanding of themselves and to develop personalized solutions and skills that the individual feels best meets their needs and goals. Emalie’s therapeutic approach can be described as person-centered, humanistic, and trauma-informed with elements of Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Narrative Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy and Dialectical Behavior Therapy.
Emalie received her master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling from Lesley University. She has experience working with children, adolescents, and young adults who are looking for support in addressing issues related to depression, anxiety, trauma, grief, self-esteem, identity development, stress, relationships and adoption. Emalie welcomes individuals across a diverse array of culture, gender, and sexuality.
Eliana Freeman
Eliana Freeman, LCSW believes therapy is a collaborative effort of building skills to best meet your needs, hopes, and goals; while exploring and building insight to better understand yourself. Her therapeutic approach is rooted in relational and psychodynamic approaches, while pulling from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Mindfulness techniques. Eliana works with individuals across the spectrums of gender, race, sexuality, age, and class. She specializes in working with young adults navigating school, work, and life challenges. She offers individual therapy for a range of experiences including: anxiety, depression, self-esteem, navigating life transitions, identity development, relationship conflict, grief and loss, and trauma and PTSD. Eliana received her clinical training and Master’s degree in Social Work from University of Pennsylvania, and has worked in a variety of settings including inpatient and outpatient clinics, schools, and residential spaces.
Jack Harari
Jack Harari, LiCSW has over 12 years of experience as a psychotherapist & career coach. He works with clients with a wide range of concerns including depression, anxiety, mood & personality disorders, relationship issues and career challenges. He describes his therapy style as warm and engaging, and he believes in creating a safe space with respect, compassion and open dialogue as a means to building trust. He especially likes to offer clients concrete tools that they can practice in session together so they can feel confident utilizing them in their every day life.
Daniel Millstein
Dr. Dan Millstein is a psychologist with over to years of experience working with adults with mood and anxiety disorders. He is trained in cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), and other short-term, evidence-based approaches. Dr. Millstein sees psychology as a lifelong study and is continually in refining his skills and expanding his knowledge of the field. He has particular expertise in working with anxiety, depression, chronic/stress-sensitive health conditions, and overall behavior change (e.g. adopting a healthier lifestyle). He is licensed in Massachusetts and New York. Dan especially enjoys helping people simplify the therapeutic process, learn practical tools for change, and feel empowered in their lives.
